A Family Tradition Made Easier With Modern Technology

Sewing has been part of our family for as long as we can remember. Our mother sewed automotive seats for General Motors, and we grew up in a family where fabric, sewing machines, and handmade projects were part of everyday life.

My sisters have been quilting for years, and they recently inspired me to begin quilting too. For years, they sent their completed quilt tops to other longarm quilters for finishing. When the opportunity arose to purchase a longarm quilting machine, I realized I could bring together our family’s passion for sewing and my experience in business, leadership, technology, and creating more efficient processes. From that opportunity, Online Quilting Studio was born.
