Last updated: September 24, 2026
1. About Online Quilting Studio
Online Quilting Studio is a registered fictitious name of R & P Ventures LLC, a Florida limited liability company located in Ocala, Florida. In these Terms of Service, “Online Quilting Studio,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to R & P Ventures LLC doing business as Online Quilting Studio.
We provide mail-in edge-to-edge longarm quilting services. These Terms govern your use of our website and your purchase of our services.
2. Services
Our standard service consists of edge-to-edge longarm quilting using the quilting pattern and thread color selected in the order form. Standard 80/20 batting is included unless otherwise stated. Custom quilting, binding, quilt repair, and other services are not included unless we expressly agree to provide them in writing.
Trimming may be provided at no additional charge when selected on the order form. Binding is not currently offered.
3. Pricing and Payment
Pricing: Quilting is priced at $0.0275 per square inch, calculated by multiplying the quilt top’s finished width by its finished length. Quilts measuring 2,700 square inches or less are charged a flat quilting price of $55.
Payment: The complete order total is due when the order is submitted. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not offer deposits or split-payment plans.
Price Confirmation: The price shown during checkout is based on the measurements and selections you provide. If the measurements or materials received differ materially from the information submitted, we will contact you before completing work that would result in an additional charge.
Return Shipping: A $20 return-shipping charge is added when the quilting price is under $100. Standard insured return shipping is included when the quilting price is $100 or more, subject to Section 9.
4. Order Information and Customer Responsibilities
You must provide complete and accurate contact information, quilt measurements, backing measurements, service selections, return-shipping information, and other information requested in the order form.
Machine-Sewn Quilt Tops: We currently accept only machine-sewn quilt tops. By submitting an order, you confirm that your quilt top is machine sewn. If we receive a hand-sewn quilt top or a quilt that cannot be safely loaded onto our equipment, we will contact you and return the materials. Applicable cancellation and return-shipping charges may apply.
Quilt-Top Preparation: The quilt top must be pressed smooth and flat, with seams secure and loose threads trimmed. Remove pins and any embellishments that could interfere with the quilting process. Do not baste or attach the quilt top to batting or backing before shipping.
Backing Requirements: Backing fabric must be at least 8 inches wider than the quilt top, providing approximately 4 extra inches on each side, and at least 10 inches longer than the quilt top, providing approximately 5 extra inches at the top and bottom. Backing must be pressed, with loose threads trimmed and seams secure.
5. Pattern, Thread, and Other Selections
You are responsible for reviewing and selecting the quilting pattern, top-thread color, trimming preference, and other options shown in the order form. Thread colors and photographs displayed on electronic screens may vary from the appearance of the physical thread.
If a selected pattern, thread color, or material becomes unavailable, or if we believe a selection presents a significant technical concern, we will contact you before substituting it.
Any “would like quilt by” date is a requested date only and is not guaranteed. If the requested date is less than three weeks from the date of the order, you must contact us to confirm whether the requested timing may be possible.
6. Shipping Materials to Us
You are responsible for the cost of shipping your quilt top and backing fabric to our studio.

Use a shipping service that provides tracking and purchase any inbound insurance you believe is appropriate for your quilt and materials. Keep your receipt and tracking number until we confirm receipt. Online Quilting Studio is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, misdelivery, or theft occurring before the package is delivered to and accepted by us.
7. Receipt, Inspection, and Service
We will notify you after your quilt materials arrive. We will inspect the materials, verify measurements, and review your selections before quilting.
If the materials do not satisfy our requirements, contain a condition that could interfere with safe quilting, or differ materially from the order information, we will contact you to discuss available options. We will not perform additional billable work without your approval.
We may photograph the project for condition records, order documentation, quality review, and private customer updates. Public or promotional photograph use is governed by Section 12.
8. Turnaround Times and Delays
Any turnaround time, schedule, or completion date we provide is an estimate and not a guarantee. Timing may be affected by shipping delays, holidays, order volume, equipment maintenance, material availability, weather, power interruptions, customer-response time, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays affecting an order.
9. Return Shipping and Delivery
Contiguous United States: Orders with a quilting price of $100 or more include standard insured return shipping within the contiguous United States. When the quilting price is under $100, a $20 return-shipping charge is added during checkout.
Alaska and Hawaii: The standard $20 return-shipping charge and included-shipping offer do not apply to Alaska or Hawaii. Customers in Alaska or Hawaii must contact us before ordering so that service availability and return-shipping costs can be confirmed.
International Orders: We do not currently accept orders requiring international return shipping.
We will send tracking information after the completed quilt is shipped. For a return shipment arranged by us, we will reasonably assist with a carrier insurance claim when coverage applies. We cannot guarantee a carrier’s handling, delivery schedule, or claim determination.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate return-shipping address. Additional costs resulting from an incorrect or undeliverable address may be charged to you.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Before Quilting Begins: You may cancel before quilting begins. Approved refunds will be reduced by a 5% processing fee and any shipping costs or other nonrecoverable expenses already incurred for the order.
After Quilting Begins: Once the quilt has been loaded onto the longarm machine and quilting has begun, the quilting service cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Materials That Cannot Be Quilted: If materials do not meet our stated requirements or cannot be safely quilted, we will contact you. You are responsible for applicable return-shipping costs, and the cancellation provisions above will apply.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be submitted to the original payment method. Processing times are controlled by Stripe and your financial institution.
11. Quilting Results, Care, and Inherent Risks
Our longarm quilting machines are operated by people, and quilting involves fabric, thread, equipment, and professional judgment. We will use reasonable care and make good-faith efforts to produce a beautiful result consistent with your selections and the condition of the materials received.
Minor variations in thread tension, stitch length, pattern placement, pattern scale, alignment, and the appearance of quilting across different fabrics are normal characteristics of longarm quilting and are not necessarily defects.
Because this is a mail-in service, we rely on the measurements, selections, photographs, notes, and instructions you provide. We are not responsible for a result that differs from an expectation that was not clearly communicated before quilting began.
Although uncommon, equipment malfunction or human error may occur. If we identify a significant problem involving your quilt, we will notify you and make reasonable efforts to evaluate the situation and determine an appropriate response.
12. Photographs and Promotional Permission
We will use photographs of your quilt or our quilting work in our website gallery, portfolio, social media, advertising, or other promotional materials only when you provide separate, affirmative permission.
When permission is provided, we may crop, resize, edit, or format photographs for presentation, provided that we do not materially misrepresent the project or our work. We will not publish your name, address, contact information, order number, or other identifying information unless you separately authorize us to do so.
Photograph permission is optional. Declining permission will not affect service, pricing, scheduling, or the care given to your quilt.
You may withdraw photograph permission by contacting us in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to discontinue future use but may not be able to recall material printed, distributed, or published before receiving your request.
13. Communications and Privacy
We may send emails reasonably necessary to complete and support your order. We will send order-related text messages only when you provide consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, and text-message consent may be withdrawn as described in our Privacy Policy.
R & P Ventures LLC d/b/a Online Quilting Studio collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Online Quilting Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from an order or the use of our website or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid to Online Quilting Studio for that order. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
15. Concerns and Governing Law
If you have a concern about a completed project, contact us within 30 days after receiving it. We may request photographs or other information reasonably needed to evaluate the concern and will work with you in good faith toward an appropriate resolution.
These Terms and any dispute relating to our services are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when our services, practices, or legal obligations change. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless another effective date is stated. The Terms in effect when you submit an order will govern that order unless you and Online Quilting Studio agree otherwise in writing.
